Breakfast with the family
Grandma Gail and Grandpa Marty met us for breakfast too! It's always a lively time, but very yummy food.

Sculpture
This otter water fountain was sculpted by a local woman in town who just happens to be Phil's aunt. It is really beautiful and we stopped to get a drink every time we went to this park!
Minnesota Fun
Our annual summer trip to MN was this month. It was such a nice, relaxing time with the Schumaker family. Nora LOVED playing with Peanut, the dog, and we even got to catch glimpses of the cat, Kit. She also enjoyed Grandpa Bill's trains. Abby got her daily exercise, and then some, on their stairs. This of course gave everyone else their exercise too! We love you Grandma and Grandpa Schumaker!Auntie Katy and Uncle Ryan joined in on the craziness. Nora loved playing with both. Ryan makes a great Unicorn/Lion, and Katy made Nora a birthday cake and jumped on a foam mattress outside with Peanut (see picture!) Good times had by all.

Making the Castle Cake!
Nora is three!!! Once again, we had a blast making her cake. She asked for either a princess cake or a fairy cake. This is what was created. She helped make the cake part and then my mom and I did the decorating while she slept. When she woke up in the morning and saw the cake, it was adorable. Sooo excited and it was just hilarious.
Birthday fun!
We had a little cookout for Nora's birthday. It was a great time for the slide and little pool. Perfect for Abby too.
Slip and Slide Fun!
The Slip N Slide is the biggest hit this summer. Love it!!!
Nora and Abby had their check ups at the doctor last week: Nora (3 years) weighs 37 lbs and is 40 1/2 inches tall! Abby (9 months) weighs 24.8 lbs and is 29 1/2 inches tall! They are getting so big. I love being their mommy.
Two Dancers
I know this is pretty ridiculous, But I just couldn't help myself. Abby didn't seem to mind it too much, but it didn't last long. The skirt gets in the way of crawling and climbing. ;)

More Ballerina
Nora just got a great ballerina outfit from grandma gail!!! It's just for fun right now, but someone is already asking to go to "Baawwaayy" class already.

Sand Fun!
So today we ventured out to our local park. It was Abby's first time playing in sand. It was hilarious to watch her try to figure out the texture and feeling in her hands. Nora is getting so big. This playground equipment that was scary for her last summer, she now jumps right on and has a great time. She will be 3 in just 2 months!

Trip to Ohio
We went on a great trip to see Uncle Oren get married!!! Auntie Michelle is so wonderful. We wish them the best! We stayed at an amazing B&B in Akron, Ohio. Grandma and Grandpa Schumaker stayed there too so we got to spend lots of good time with them. Nora LOVED the stairs, we went up and down and up and down.....

Family Hug
So one of the cute things that Nora has been doing lately is asking for a "Family Hug." She goes "Faaamily Huuug." and then reaches her arms up and we all hug. Pretty cheesy, I know.
Dress up
Nora crawled into Abby's crib and I caught some sweet smiles.Nora found some fun shoes from mommy's friend and she walked all over the house showing off her big girl shoes.

Yep, we make chubby bunnies!
Abby just graduated to the bath seat and she LOVES it! She can play with Nora and she LAUGHS like crazy. Its so fun to watch.
