Train Cake!

Abby turned two and we replayed the Train Cake mold we had used for Nora. There is something about LOVING trains at this age.

Waking up by Daddy

When Abby wakes up in the morning, one of the first things she wants (after her juice) is to see Daddy.

First Day of School

All I can say was it was HARD to get these girls, especially the curly girl, to stand still! But they did look cute!
I am working at their MDO this year and really love it. It's so fun to peek into the girl's rooms and watch them playing or painting. Nora's teachers say she is quite the artist, always jumping to paint. Abby's teacher told me she is the class dancer. :)

Two cute stories:
We were out on our trampoline the other day and Nora asked me where bugs go after they die. I said I didn't know, but that we will have to ask God that someday. She promptly looked up at me and with all sincerity asked, "Why don't you just call Him, you've got God's phone number, right?" It was priceless.

Nora is going to a Princess party this weekend. (It has been a long two weeks since I received the invitation) Needless to say, she is stoked. One of the Disney princess will be showing up. This morning, she drew a picture for the princess. She said, "maybe if I give her this picture, she will love it so much, she will "poof" me a present!" Smart kid.

September Rains

One of the many nice things about growing up in Oklahoma, is the warm rains. I remember, vividly, playing in the rain with my brother. It's fun to see the tradition continuing. There is also nothing like rain to calm before-dinner temper tantrums. It was perfect.

Clay making and Painting

The girls LOVE art, as most kiddos do. I learned quickly that the best way to paint, is naked!
